More of Montalbano!

The first sign on the top says...MONTALBANO!!!!
The way getting there was easy but getting through the town...not so much!

Isn't this beautiful? This was taken in the town square.
And then this right here is a picture of the (really big) castle in Montalbano. It's really big...I have to get a bigger picture of it or maybe I have one...
I don't know!
Did I say in the last post that Montalbano is in the moustains? Well it is!

  1. Ciao, Piccola "P",
I have a google alert that sends me internet links to articles about Sicily. I am interested because I have cousins that live in the small town of Ferla in the province of Siracusa and I like to see what is happening in Sicily. I have just spent the last 20 minutes looking at your blog. I am very impressed with how interesting and informative it is. I am a retired woman who lives in southern California. But when I was younger, I was a 5th grade teacher. When I have visited my cousins in Sicily, I have seen their children doing their homework and I even had the opportunity to visit their elementary school. The children were very polite but their classrooms were very different from the classrooms in the United States. I would be interested to read how you find the schools and teachers to be different than what you had before you moved to Sicily. Where did you live before? Are you a US Citizen? I will watch your blog to see if you answer me.
Also, I am very impressed with your blog. I have often thought of starting one to share my thoughts and activities with family and friends but have never had the gumption to try. I admire your efforts.

  2. Ciao Patrizia,
I've always wanted to go and see Siracusa. But I have never had the chance. But I will some time...
Thank you, I try and tell and show information on what the stuff is on my blog. But, sometimes I can go a little overboard.
And I would be interested to just write about it, because it is very diffrent from the US. The teacher's and all the kids (well the kids not so much). And you are right just by the way the classroom looks you can tell it's just so different. I will have to post that sometime. But anyway...
Before I lived here in Sicily, I lived in America. But i like it better here in Sicily...

And please come and read my blog when you get the chance. And I'm sorry if it took me a while to write you back. I've been busy. (You know all the cool stuff here) HAHA.

And please leave me coments when ever you can. I LOVE to read them and see what people say.

    Thank you...
    Little P
