Thanks to Columbus! I know today isn't Columbus day but I just wanted to talk about him!
Columbus found North America! But what he really found was the Dominican Republic!
The Dominican Republic is a nation on the of Hispaniola. Hispaniola is the second- largest and most populous island of the Antilles. The Antilles refers to the island forming the greater part of the west Indies in the Caribbean Sea. The Antilles divided into two major groups the: " Greater Antilles" to the north including the larger islands of Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola, ( Haiti and the Dominican Republic ) and Puerto Rico.
